This project involved the remodelling and extension of a 1990 Charles Church house to create a much enlarged dwelling with a bright contemporary feel whilst maximising the building envelope.
The work included removal of the existing roof which was low pitched and presented poorly with large modern concrete tiles ,the creation of additional rooms in the roof, extensions at ground and first floor level and creation of rear landscaped gardens to include for a resistance pool and hot tub.
The project was handled from inception to completion with Philip handling all design work from conception through to Planning and Building Regulation application and approval , appointment of Building Contractors and site monitoring and advice on payment schedules. The complete project which included the creation of a temporary roof over, liaison with external consultants including Structural Engineers , Kitchen and Bathroom Consultants etc.took circa 12 months .
The finished product is now signifcantly larger (by c 60% )and now totals some 450 sq metres on all levels , has a state of the art cinema room within the attic, gym, 5 Bedrooms and six bathrooms .
